2017 Classes!

Hiya Mum’s!
Just a quick post regarding some important information about the coming months of Colchester Buggy Bootcamp…
I hope lots of you will be ready to hit it hard after the new year! Let’s burn off those mince pies & have fun doing it 😉
As some of you know, I’m currently pregnant myself! Baby Horne is due 8th May 2017! I have decided to run my indoor Bootcamp classes next year in TERMS rather than MONTHS as I will stop teaching my Bootcamp classes at the end of March…
As it stands I will be running the following class sessions in 2017:
Tuesday’s 1pm @ Topnotch health club (CO4 9AS)

Term 1 : 10th Jan – 7th Feb (5 hrs = £30)

Term 2 : 21st Feb – 28th March (6 hrs = £36)
Friday’s 11.30am @ Motion Dance and Fitness Studio (CO1 )

Term 1 : 6th Jan – 10th Feb (6 hrs = £36)

Term 2 : 24th Feb – 31st Mar (6 hrs = £36)
There are only 16 spaces available per session and all classes must be paid for in advance. If the classes fill up, then I will put on more classes for you all.
If you would like to do 2 sessions per week I will be offering a special discount. Classes will work out £5 instead of £6 per hour. If you are planning on doing two classes a week please let me know and I will let you know the final amount you need to pay with the discount applied.

You will find the “Term” pages at the bottom of the screen. Please select the correct term and day enter your name and contact number onto the date you wish to attend.
This system also helps me to GUARANTEE the class will run EVERY WEEK as I have commitment rather than pay as you go options.
Please remember that buggies are not compulsory for indoor classes. You can bring your little ones in on their car seat, or with a play mat / rocker. Obviously toddlers can have a little run about but please bring toys / food to occupy them. However if your baby is happier in a buggy (especially if they are very tiny – they should lie flat) please bring a buggy if it’s easier for you!

Buggy Bootcamp is going OUTDOORS for the summer!

Hiya Mummies!

As of the week beginning Monday 2nd May 2016 we will be going OUTDOORS again for the summer months! Our indoor venues have been absolutely brilliant over the winter months, but it’s now time for some vitamin d and fresh air 😊

Indoor Classes for the Winter!

20 Minute Core Workout with Amy Horne

Core work is an essential part of any workout programme, especially for new Mums. However, most ladies turn to ‘sit ups’ or ‘crunches’ for that flat belly. Unfortunately – these types of stomach exercises are ineffective and also put some new Mums at risk of hernias.

I have put together a core workout designed for Mums. You can do this gentle and effective workout every day to help you strengthen and tighten those core muscles. Remember to always do a gentle warm up and stretch before and after… even a gentle walk up and down the stairs a few times to elevate the heart rate and warm the muscles ready for exercise. If your lower back feels any pain or discomfort in a particular exercise – simply rest and re-visit that exercise in a few weeks when the back becomes stronger and more able to cope.
